This action-thriller is set as a smaller, less problematic version of professional leonalbeit with an antagonist with a karambit effect similar to Cecep Arif Rahman’s character raid 2 Instead of quirky cop counterpart Gary Oldman.

Won Bin (the mother) plays Cha Tae-sik, a widower and pawn shop owner who befriends So-mi (Kim Sae-ron), a young girl who lives in the same apartment building with her opium-addicted dancer and dancer mother. When So-mi is kidnapped by gangsters as part of a ploy to recover a missing package of drugs, Tae-sik finds himself embroiled in a conflict between two warring criminal organizations while embarking on a pressing one-man mission to get her home. Cooler than the other side of the pillow, Won Bin presents a compelling and compelling portrait of a man who brushes off his skill to surgically disable his opponents with brutal efficiency and one-minded focus. This was his last movie before retirement, and frankly who would blame him? The man from nowhere It is a modern classic and a must-see for the savvy action movie fanatic. – Toussaint Egan

Horror and Action siblings are closer than they seem. Both genres are committed to bringing out the inner struggles of their characters, in finding exciting and dynamic visual ways to portray what their characters lack the words for. They are also the types that, at their most effective, really know how to make something seem so painful.

Night comes for us is an action film by Indonesian horror director Timo Tahjanto, and is a brutal and violent masterpiece that follows Ito, a Southeast Asian member of the gang who turns his back on a criminal fraternity in order to save the life of a young girl. Under Tjahjanto’s direction, a familiar premise develops into an unforgettable movie, as Tjahjanto presides over some of the film’s most brutal fights and slowly leads the hero to damnation. –Joshua Rivera

in Northman, a man leaps into the air, throws a spear at him, and in one smooth motion, throws it back again with an episodic precision that makes it one of the most amazing and entertaining spectacles of the year. The rest of the movie, about the Vikings’ long quest for revenge on an uncle who betrayed his clan, murdered his father, and kidnapped his mother, is multi-layered. Moving between popular horror, twisted family drama, and testosterone-infused action, Northman It is director Robert Eggers’ version of the movie Popcorn, upsetting his abrasive chops in a movie muscle brawl. SPL 2: Consequences time

year: 2015
the show length: 2h
Director: Cheang Pou-soi
spit: Tony Ja, Wu Jing, and Simon Yam

I am a huge fan of martial arts movies, and is often asked where a new interested person should start. It often depends on the mood you’re in – there’s a huge gap between the joys of Jackie Chan’s action-comedy and the bone-crushing thrillers of something like Night comes for us – But I always come back to SPL 2: Consequences time As a movie everyone can enjoy.

Kate (Wu) is a cop who goes undercover to infiltrate a criminal syndicate that is running a sinister kidnapping-for-organs-harvest scheme. When Kit’s cover is blown, he is sent to a prison in Thailand, where his guard (Zhang Jin) is allied with the guild. The prison portion of the movie includes multiple fights between Kate and the jailer and prison guard Chachai (Ja).

A crime thriller with hints of medical drama, featuring an all-star cast of action legends like Jaa, Jing and Max Zhang. The first movie in the series, kill zone, stars Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung as well as the rules, but this isn’t really related, so you don’t have to watch it first if you don’t want to. –people home

Nobody in the world makes action movies more beautiful than Zhang Yimou. And his wuxia films are dazzling displays of cinematic excellence.

Rich in political intrigue and brilliant contrast of colours, Shade (while in color) makes great use of black and white photos. It also has one of the coolest cinematic weapons of the century – the parachute you see above, which is made up of blades. I urge you to watch this film, one of the best films of the century and the Festival of Senses. –PV

swordsman

year: 2020
the show length: 1 hour 40 d
Director: Choi Jae Hoon
spit: Jang Hyuk, Kim Hyun Soo, Jo delivery

The action drama of this period centers around Tae Yeol (Jang Hyuk), the best swordsman in the Joseon Dynasty in Korea and the bodyguard of King Gwanghegun. Blinded in a coup attempt, Tae Yeol flees with Tae-ok (Kim Hyun-soo), the king’s last surviving child, to raise her in the mountains out of harm’s way. When Tae-ok is inadvertently kidnapped by Gurotai (Joe Delivery), a member of the Qing Dynasty, as part of a feud between him and the local vassal, Tae Yul takes his sword one last time to cut off the kidnappers’ bloody patch and secure her freedom.

Admittedly, the first half was on the slower side, putting up a showdown between Tae Yeol and the other key players in the story, including Min Seung Ho (Jung Man Sik), the Joseon general responsible for injuring Tae Yeol and killing Gwanghaegun. . This takes a turn in the latter half of the movie, however, as Tae-yul sets out to expertly take down his opponents with ruthless efficiency combined with ballet agility and agility. The battle of the yard against a group of armed infantry, as well as the final duel between Tae Yul and Gurutai, are fine examples of the direction of action. If you are looking for an exciting and innovative martial arts drama, swordsman Definitely fits the bill. -The

One of the best action movies on Netflix, he’s surprisingly conservative in his work. A story about three former martial arts students who are reunited after the murder of their master, paper tigers The first blow to genius is to resist the grim revenge story that audiences might expect from this. Instead, writer/director Pau Tran (Tran Quoc Pao) is a comedy, in which the central trio of fighters are middle-aged, lazy, and barely able to perform half of the moves they did when they were younger.

And so Crew Zeros was created, paper tigers Not so much a grim tale of revenge, but a heartfelt story of coming to terms with age and getting away from each other, a story in which its protagonists emerge. I can not Fighting as they used to enjoy watching other movie shows efficiently. This also means paper tigerscleverly and charmingly, also He gets wonderfully tense: eventually, they’ll have to stop whining and fight like they mean to. When the time comes, can they? –JR

wheels on meals

year: 1984
the show length: 1 hour 44 d
Director: Samo Hong
spit: Jackie Chan, Samo Hong, Yuen Biao

There are many reasons to love wheels on meals. It’s an excellent entry from a period of time where childhood friends Jackie Chan, Samo Hong and Yuen Biao were at the height of their martial arts comedies. It’s a really funny companion comedy with lots of wacky tricks. But one reason prevails: The fights between Jackie Chan and Penny Urquidese in this movie are arguably the best ever.

First, a little background on the legendary Urquidez. One of the greatest kickboxing of all time, he was a hugely influential fighter who helped spread the martial arts in the United States. He has trained a number of Hollywood stars as fighters (Patrick Swayze for his role in road houseHe is also John Cusack’s kickboxing coach and has fought through it Gross Point Blanc). But at this point in Urquidez’s career, he was much closer to his time as a ring legend than his time as an action movie legend. Jackie Chan brought him in for his role in the second film (his first appearance was in Robert Close Strength: Five With some great movie buddies in Joe Louis, Richard Norton, and Bong Su Han) because the burgeoning Hong Kong star wanted a challenge. If you listen to Urquidez talk about filming this movie in his interview with Scott Adkins (and you should), they really went for him in this movie, because Jackie wanted to prove himself against one of the best fighters in the world. It shows up on screen in some of the most exciting fight scenes ever.

if wheels on meals It was just one fight between Jackie and me. dyino, it would have been enough. Thank God the whole movie is a blessing. –PV
