During Creators Week 2022, we invite creators from around the world to join us in growing their careers, connecting with their peers, and building a future together. We’re also announcing new ways creators can make money on Facebook and Instagram.
Digital Collectibles Updates
Soon content creators will be able to create their own work digital collectibles on Instagram and sell it to fans, both on and off Instagram. They will have a comprehensive toolkit – since creation (starting with the Polygon blockchain) and offered for sale. People can easily support their favorite creators by purchasing their digital holdings directly from Instagram. We’re testing these new features with a small group of creators in the US first, and hope to expand them to more countries soon.
We’re also expanding the types of digital collectibles you can view on Instagram to include video and Added support for Solana blockchain wallet and Phantom, plus Blockchain and wallets which we already support. finally, Information for groups selected where metadata has been enriched by OpenSea, such as group name and descriptions, will now be available on Instagram.

Subscribe to Instagram
We’re expanding access to Instagram subscriptions for everyone Qualified Content Creators in the United States, so that more content creators can earn predictable income and connect more deeply with their most engaged followers. Since launching subscriptions earlier this year, we’ve seen creators like Cole Sprouse (Tweet embed), Alan Chow (Tweet embedand Sky Jackson (@SkiggsonUse subscriptions to get closer to their most engaged supporters.
stars and gifts
We make it easier for people to discover stars on Facebook by automatically enabling Stars in public creator content – including Reels. This means that people can learn about the stars and use them in more places across Facebook. We test with a select number of creators globally.
For creators who already use Stars, we are launching new features to make it easier to earn stars and interact with Star senders:
- Bring the party stars to the reels. The Star Party is a star community challenge that ends with a celebration if the creator reaches their goal.
- A . test A new set of virtual gifts designed for specific content. For example, if you’re watching a puppy reel from your favorite pet creator, you’ll be able to send that creator a gift in the form of a dog.
- Giving creators more tools to interact with star sendersLike adding a filter in Comments Manager that displays all of the creator’s star comments in one place. In this deck, creators will be able to reply to multiple comments at once.
- Bring the stars to Invisible public content such as images and text posts.
we present to you Gifts on Instagram, starting with ReelsSo, creators have a new way to make money from fans who love their videos. To support their favorite creators, fans can send gifts on Reels by purchasing Stars within Instagram. We’re testing this with a small group of creators in the US first, and hope to expand it to more creators soon.
Facebook Profiles Professional Mode
we shoot Facebook Profiles Professional ModeCreate a new profile that allows creators around the world to build a public presence while maintaining their personal experience on Facebook. Professional mode provides creators and anyone who wants to become a creator, a set of tools and opportunities to start growing a global community from their profile. With the pro mode, creators can become eligible to earn money with Stars, ads on Facebook Reels, in-stream ads, and Reels Play. They will also have access to content and audience analytics, educational resources, and more.
