Release: Dead Space ported to PS Vita! – Wololo.net

Developer Gl33ntwine launched Dead Space Vita, a port of Dead Space Mobile. This follows Vita’s other great Android ports such as Fahrenheit, Crazy Taxi, Rockstar’s Bully, and GTA San Andreas, as well as Final Fantasy ports.

What is Dead Space for PS Vita?

Dead Space (mobile) is an Android/iOS spin-off from the Dead Space franchise. While this isn’t the main “Dead Space” game you remember from the PS3/XBOX 360 era, don’t be fooled by the “Mobile” side of the game, it’s really good. Wikipedia says:

This homebrew is a loader for the Xperia Play version of Dead Space, based on the Android SO Loader from TheFloW. The loader provides an Android-like environment specially designed and minimalistic to run the official ARMv6 executable game on PS Vita.

To install the game correctly, you must strictly follow these steps:

  • Install or update kubridge and FdFix by copy kubridge.skprx And the fd_fix.skprx to the taiHEN extensions folder (usually ur0:tai) and add two entries to a file config.txt under *KERNEL:

  ur0:tai/fd_fix.skprx

⚠️ DO NOT INSTALL fd_fix.skprx If you are using the rePatch!

⚠️ Even if you have kubridge.skprx It was installed before, most likely you still need to update it, as a new version of the plugin was released at the same time as this port.

  • Make sure you have libshacccg.suprx In the ur0:/data/ folder on your console. If you haven’t, use the ShaRKBR33D to get it quick and easy.

  • Legally get your copy of Dead Space Mobile for Xperia Play in file form .apk a file. The version for regular Android devices, also known as the latest Google Play version / version, Will not work! Make sure your game Version 1.1.33 (This is the last supported version on Xperia Play and was made available via the EA Store in 2012).
