Watch: Lee Yi Kyung disappears on his wedding day + reappears as a younger version of himself in the new ‘Cafe Midnight’

The upcoming movie “Cafe Midnight: Missing Honey” has released two spin-offs of its magical story!

“Cafe Midnight: Missing Honey” is a new fantasy romance movie based on the popular drama series “Cafe Midnight”, which is about a mysterious cafe on a mountain road that doesn’t appear on the map – that transcends time and space.

In the first of two newly released clips of the movie, Namgoong Yoon (played by Chae Seo Jin) ran into her wedding dress at night frantically searching for her missing groom. In the voiceover she says, “As you go through life, you experience a lot of different things, but who would have guessed that I would get lost in the woods in the dead of night while I was wearing my wedding dress?”

As the clock approaches midnight, Namgoong Yeon finds the mysterious Midnight Cafe, where she is greeted by her “Master” (played by Shin Joo-hwan). When I commented, “I’ve never seen this café before,” he replied, “Here, we open our doors at midnight and close when the sun rises.”

Namgoong Yoon begins by saying, “I’m looking for a missing person,” but soon ends up getting close to the person she’s been looking for: her fiancé Ahn Tae Young (played by Lee Yi Kyung). However, Ahn Tae Young did not recognize her, staring at her frankly before asking, “Who are you?” Namgoong Yoon asks in disbelief, “Do you really not know me?” He replied, “I think you confused me with another client.”

It soon becomes clear that this version of Ahn Tae Young is only 25 years old – and unlike Namgoong Yoon, who lives in 2022, it’s from 2016. With the dawning that she’s talking to her fiancé from the past, Namgoong Yoon learns that “there are people From many different times here [in Cafe Midnight]. “

Then Ahn Tae Young caught her by surprise by saying, “I’ll apologize instead. If what you’re saying is true, you disappeared on my wedding day six years from now. If I were you, I wouldn’t be able to forgive you either.”

As an older woman reassures Namgoong Yoon, “They say people who are meant to meet eventually meet no matter what” and the seemingly deserted bride asks in confusion, “Why in the world did he disappear, and where did he go?”

Meanwhile, the second trailer begins with Ahn Tae Young’s show on Namgoong Yoon. The happily in love couple poses for their wedding photo session before Ahn Tae Young tells his fiancée, “Let’s never part, no matter what.”

However, when their wedding day arrives, Ahn Tae Young is nowhere to be found, and one of the guests grumbled, “How has the groom not arrived yet at this hour?” Despite Namgoong Yoon trying to call him, his phone is switched off, and he eventually ends up running down the street in search of her missing groom.

After playing Namgoong Yoon on the 2016 version of Ahn Tae Young at Cafe Midnight, the cafe master shocks the bride by calling her by her name. “You know my name?” I asked him, and the head of the cafe replied, “Yes, because you are an invited guest.” Then Namgoong Yoon wonders aloud, “What is this place?”

When Namgoong Yoon tried to return to the cafe during the day, he mysteriously disappeared, and she insisted to her colleagues, “Surely there was a cafe here yesterday.” She then confessed to the younger version of her fiancé, “I was really mean to you. I probably ran away after having to put up with my nerves for so long.”

Plagued with doubt and regret, she continued to worry, “It was all my fault. I spoiled everything.” The trailer ends with Namgoong Yoon asking the same very important question: “Why in the world did he disappear to, and where did he go?”

“Cafe Midnight: Missing Honey” will be shown on November 17th.
