Migos: Takeoff’s final Instagram story before the fatal shooting
Tykov, a member of the rap trio Migos, was shot and killed in Houston, Texas on Tuesday (November 1).
The rapper – full name Kirshnik Khari Paul – was 28 years old.
Police officers were called at approximately 2.34 a.m. local time (7.34 a.m. GMT) about a shooting outside 810 billiards and machine bowling in downtown Houston, where a private party of about 40 people was taking place.
Both Takeoff and fellow band Migos Quavo were in attendance. Quavo – real name Quavious Keyate Marshall – was unhurt in the melee. Migos’ third member, Offset, was not present.
An argument arose, it was said after the dice game, and shots were fired. Takeoff was announced dead at the scene.
Industry figures and fans mourned his death, with tributes flowing to the late rapper on social media.
Celebrities including James Corden, Drake, SZA, Outkast and Khloé Kardashian shared posts remembering the rapper.
So far, no suspects have been arrested, with Houston Police Chief Troy Wiener calling on witnesses to “escalate” the information about the shooting.
Police and other rapper fans have urged the removal of videos of the incident that have been circulating online.
Quavo’s assistant reportedly shot in an accident that killed Takeoff
Quavo’s assistant, Joshua “Wash” Washington, was one of the other people who opened fire in the shooting that killed Takeoff, according to the TMZ.

What is Takeoff registered?
The take-off was signed for quality control.
In a statement posted on social media, the label said “senseless violence” had “devastated them”.
“It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we regret the loss of our beloved brother Keresnik Khari Paul, known to the world as Take Off,” the statement read.
“Senseless violence and a stray bullet took another life out of this world and we are shattered. Please respect his family and friends as we all continue to process this terrible loss.”

Migos — made up of Takeoff, Offset, and Quavo — grew up together in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Migos was formed in 2008. The trio originally called themselves The Polo Club.
The three members are directly related and brought up together; Quavo was Takeoff’s uncle, and Offset is Quavo’s cousin.

A video clip shows a man with a gun at a party where Take-Off was shot
ICYMI: video obtained TMZ It appears to show a VIP standing with a gun in his pocket moments before Takeoff is shot.
The man was seen standing with a gun as Takeoff’s bandmate Quavo got into an argument with someone.
The person can then be seen with a drawn gun before the shots are heard.
The police are aware of the video.

The coroner’s report confirmed that Takeoff was shot multiple times.
The Harris County medical examiner confirmed that the cause of his death was “gunshot wounds” and ruled his death a “murder.”
