Tesla, Netflix earnings, Spirit Airlines shareholder vote, existing home sales next week

Investors are preparing for another wave of corporate earnings and economic data. In addition, Wall Street will monitor developments from the major shareholder vote on JetBlue Airways’ proposed merger with Spirit Airlines.

On Friday, US stocks closed out a strong week with losses for all three major criteria. Over the course of the week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.3%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite were down 1.5% and 3%, respectively.
