In the footage, Margot was dressed casually and appeared to be leaving a dorm with a bag in her hand, although fans were immediately concerned when it appeared she was crying.

So, just days after this incident, Margot was seen looking drenched in tears after a supposed visit to the supermodel’s home, sparking great concern that things might go awry.

During a new interview with Vanity Fair, Margot said that shortly after the photos of her “crying” went viral, she got a phone call from her mom, who was eager to check with her and Cara.
She was quick to reassure her worried mother that they were both okay, before going on to expose the entire episode – revealing first that the photos, contrary to popular belief, were not even taken at Kara’s house.
“I’m not at Cara’s house – I’m off an Airbnb I’ve been renting for five days! And she remembered saying to her mother, I do not cry!
So, if you weren’t crying, what were those facial expressions? Well, according to Margot, her obvious discomfort was the reason for her annoying eyelashes — it happens to the best of us.
“I had something in my eyes. I’m trying to hold my face mask, trying to hold a cup of coffee, and I couldn’t get a hair out of my eyes,” she said, quelling the rumours.
As for Cara, she’s made a number of public appearances since this saga, and she appears to be perfectly fine, despite fans’ concerns.
In fact, the model addressed the comment and assured fans that she was fine during an interview today Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallontold the host, “I’ve been living the best of my life, but people find it a little weird. People find me a little weird, but that’s me. No embarrassment.”
